And just like that, another wonderful and busy LHS Term has come to an end! I hope you enjoy reflecting on just some of the activities which have taken place over the past few weeks. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you, our parents, for your continuing support of the School and wish you all an enjoyable and restful Easter break. I look forward to welcoming your daughters back to School on Monday 24 April for the start of Summer Term.

Physics Olympiad

Our two Year 12 Physics students have recently taken part in the Senior Physics Olympiad Challenge. This competition develops students’ problem-solving skills, which is a key skill that universities are looking for.

This year in particular, the standard of the problems was very challenging and it is really pleasing to announce that both Saiya J and Aaishah S  achieved the Gold Award.

“You’re Hired” 2023

The PSHCE Department is very grateful to the parents who came into school to carry out the interviews for our "You're Hired" activity for Year 11.  In this the girls applied for one of four fictitious Saturday jobs, prepared their CV and an application letter and then received an interview for which they had the opportunity to dress in their interview clothes and have a real interview experience.  The best candidate for each position won a £10 Amazon voucher.  The successful applicants were: Cassidy C, Fatimah D, Suzan A, Safiyah P and Esha K, but it was a valuable experience for all and they looked impressively smart in their interview outfits.
