Puppet Workshop Brings Creative Magic to Leicester High School for Girls
Last week, Leicester High School for Girls hosted an inspiring Puppet Workshop in collaboration with Bamboozle Theatre, led by the renowned puppet designer and maker Sue Pyecroft.
The event, held in the School’s Drama Studio, provided parents and pupils with a unique opportunity to explore the art of puppetry in an intimate setting.
Participants learnt the intricacies of puppet manipulation and design.
Head of Drama, Mrs Jo Rose, said, “We were thrilled to welcome Sue Pyecroft to Leicester High. It was a fantastic opportunity for pupils to experience the transformative power of puppetry. Seeing everyone’s creativity come to life was truly magical.”
The workshop was part of Leicester High School for Girls’ ongoing commitment to offering enriching experiences for both students and parents. More events are planned for the coming months, continuing to develop an inclusive community.
