Dinosaur Adventure: EYFS Pupils Explore the Past at New Walk Museum
Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) pupils from Leicester High School for Girls went on an exciting adventure at New Walk Museum as part of their ongoing study on ‘Dangerous Dinosaurs’.
This interactive trip allowed the girls to get up close and personal with life-sized dinosaur replicas, real fossils, and hands-on activities.
Highlights of the trip included using microscopes to closely examine fossils, the awe-inspiring dinosaur skeletons, the hands-on experience of touching rocks containing fossils, and encountering an enormous dinosaur.
Mrs Heywood, Head of EYFS said, "The trip was a fantastic way for our children to learn through play. It was engaging and educational, leaving lasting impressions."
