Year 9 students visited the Justice Museum in Nottingham, participating in a mock trial where the defendant was found guilty of attempted murder but received a lenient sentence. This experience helped students understand the legal system and sentencing decisions.

Year 8 also visited the Justice Museum for a trial focused on cyberbullying. Despite the Judge's inclination towards a severe punishment, the sentencing guidelines resulted in the defendant receiving time in custody. This trial emphasised the importance of following legal protocols.

Additionally, Jim Holmes, Freelance Documentary Photographer, who has spent 30 years specialising in documenting humanitarian work worldwide visited to speak to Years 10 and 12 about humanitarian efforts. Using his photographs, Jim highlighted the work of agencies like Oxfam, Save the Children, and the United Nations, providing students with insights into global humanitarian issues.
