Independence and Adventure Trip
Year 4 and 5 pupils from Leicester High School for Girls have returned from an exciting residential trip to Staffordshire, where they took on a variety of outdoor challenges.
The girls participated in activities such as rock climbing, crate-stacking, team-building exercises, and a thrilling zip-wire ride. They also took part in a fun-filled mini Olympics.
The focus of the trip was on encouraging the girls to become more independent and take risks, and they certainly rose to the challenge. Their efforts have earned them a nomination for the Excellence Book.
Year 5 Class Teacher, Cheryl Dryland, said, “It was fantastic to see the girls’ enthusiasm and how they supported each other throughout the trip. Their teamwork and positive energy made the experience truly special for everyone involved."
