A-Level Results 2024 - A Celebration of Excellence
Leicester High School for Girls is delighted to announce another set of exceptional A-Level results, with students demonstrating strong academic performance.
This year, 52.70% of grades achieved were A*-A, and 70.27% were A*-B.
The School has also reported significant success in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) subjects, with 71% of students achieving A*-A grades and 84% securing A*-B. These results underscore the School's commitment to supporting young women in fields that are often under-represented by women, highlighting the students' capabilities and the School's focus on STEM education.
Six students in the cohort secured all A*s and As, reflecting the high academic standards at the School.
Commenting on the results, Headmaster, Mr Alan Whelpdale said, " The students have shown dedication and can be proud of their achievements. I also commend our staff for their professionalism and support. These results will open doors to exciting opportunities for our leavers, and we wish them the best for the future."
As an all-girls school, Leicester High School for Girls continues to emphasise the importance of providing a supportive environment where students can excel in all areas, including STEM subjects.
The School looks forward to seeing its graduates continue to make their mark in the world, confident in their abilities and ready to embrace the exciting opportunities that lie ahead.
For those seeking an exceptional education, there are still spaces available for enrolment this September. There is also the upcoming Open Morning on 28 September if you would like to explore the opportunities on offer.
