On Monday, 27th January 2020, Hanniya was the opening speaker at the event with 13 city schools in attendance and the aim was to get young people’s insight on climate change and tackling it in Leicester. Hanniya said:“The event has been really good – it’s been about looking what the solutions are." She was also interviewed by BBC 1 for a short documentary on climate change which will be released in March.
