Apart from the first evening which was rather wet, we were able to enjoy some pleasantly warm weather. The weekend involved three days of walking and two nights of camping in the beautiful Peak District. Each group spent time learning camp craft skills, navigation, how to cook on a trangia, and, most importantly, teamwork skills. 

Mrs Penney, Mrs Haresign, and I were all so proud of the students who took part and we wish them good luck for the qualifying expedition at the end of June.
