John joined the LHS Governing body in 2013 and acted as Chair of the Finance and Estates Committee, attending his last meeting at the School on 18 November. Before joining the School, John played rugby professionally for the Leicester Tigers, who honoured him with Life Membership in 1997. Following his rugby career, John trained as an accountant, bringing his financial acumen, and dry sense of humour, to the LHS Governing Body.   

John was a loyal, reliable and hard-working member of the Governing Body, giving his time freely to support the School. He will be sadly missed by the School community.
