British Science Week
Leicester High School is celebrating National Science Week with a number of events going on all week – all around the theme of ‘Connections’.
There will be science competitions and events throughout the week, with experiments for the students to take party in during each lunchtime starting at 1:15pm in the student foyer area.
These events include: Building and Racing bug Cars, Best LHS Paper Airplane competition, Gums to Tums, Fizzy Drink Fountains, Making Slime, Colour chemistry, Model stick Insects and Molecule Models.
Parent and Daughter Event
On Thursday March 16th our Chemistry Department are running a Cosmetic Chemistry event for students and their Parents. During the evening you and your Daughter will get to make your own bath products and take away ideas for activities that can be done at home with your children.
We are starting at 5:30pm and will finish for 6:30pm. Please email Andy McMurray at a.mcmurray@leicesterhigh.co.uk if you would like to attend. Places are limited due to lab space and further details will be provided nearer the time.
