Year 9 Sports Achievement
I am pleased to inform you that Ayesha N recently participated in a doubles badminton competition and has achieved a milestone. She prepped for the Derek Meakin junior memorial badminton tournament held at Coalville on 11th Feb 2023. (Doubles only)
An impressive 1st place was secured at the Derek Meakin tournament for doubles games despite last minute changes with Ayesha and not having played with her partner ever before.
I would like to thank the school for its positive and confident building approach which has helped Ayesha, as well as a big shout for her PE teacher Miss Mc Carthy. Without her proactive approach Ayesha wouldn't have evolved in sports.
