Self Defence with Dan Powell
Dan Powell, Paralypian, owner of GNR8 Academy and winner of the NEST Martial Arts Business Award for Outstanding Personal Achievement, and his team, came to deliver two sessions on self-defence for our Year 12 and 13 students.
Both sessions incorporated boxing and judo and students loved every second while being able to learn valuable aspects of the sport and self-defence techniques. Apart from being an inspirational athlete, Dan is a fantastic teacher, and his sessions are always a hit with the students.
