Year 8 and 9 students visit Leicester Tigers Stadium for personal wellbeing
Students from Years 8 and 9 visited the Leicester Tigers Stadium as part of an educational initiative focused on personal wellbeing.
The trip provided practical insights and knowledge to students, encouraging them to lead safe and healthy lives. The programme included sessions on nutrition, physical fitness, stress management, and mental health awareness, along with a tour of the stadium.
Head of PE at Leicester High School for Girls, Kate McCarthy stated, "We believe this trip is an excellent opportunity for our students to learn more about personal wellbeing. The Leicester Tigers Stadium provides an engaging setting for them to explore important aspects of leading a safe and healthy lifestyle."
