Year 7 students at Leicester High School for Girls received their first set of letters from their penfriends in Walbourg, France, marking the start of an international exchange program designed to promote cross-cultural connections.
In an effort to enhance global awareness and language skills, students opened their letters containing friendly greetings and introductions from their French counterparts. The students are now composing their responses, keen to share their own stories and learn more about their new friends from abroad.
This penfriend exchange program will continue throughout the School year, allowing students to make international friendships and gain insights into different cultures.
