Leicester High School for Girls students visit The Space Centre in Leicester.
Leicester High School for Girls' Year 5 students recently enjoyed an educational visit to The Space Centre in Leicester.
During this outing, the girls actively engaged with hands-on exhibits, participated in educational activities, and had the opportunity to meet inspiring scientists. This experience ignited their curiosity and enthusiasm for space exploration.
Head of Science, Andy McMurray, said: “As a school committed to promoting STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) subjects, this trip provided an excellent opportunity to inspire our students and encourage their interest in these fields.”
Head of Year 5, Mrs. Cheryl Dryland, also said: "It was lovely to witness our students' eagerness to learn and explore the mysteries of the universe. This experience has undoubtedly left a lasting impression on their young minds."
