Junior Department’s Wellbeing Week
The Junior Department at Leicester High School for Girls has had an exhilarating Wellbeing Week, packed with activities encouraging creativity, gratitude, and community engagement.
The week began with a lively House music and spotlight concert on Monday, highlighting the students' talents. On Tuesday, a Book Breakfast allowed pupils to enjoy their books and socialise with friends before indulging in pain au chocolat. This was followed by a talent show featuring dancing and singing performances. In the afternoon, parents joined in a relaxing and creative glass fusion workshop.
Wednesday saw students starting their day with an energising dance routine, and later they enjoyed an indoor picnic lunch. Thankful Thursday featured a gratitude graffiti session and pottery painting.
On Friday, students came to school in pyjamas, indulged in Steve's Ices, and showcased crazy hat creations in a lively Fashion Show Parade.
“We're delighted with the enthusiastic participation and community spirit shown by our students and parents throughout Wellbeing Week. It is never too early to start learning about the importance of Wellbeing.” said Pippa Gascoigne, Assistant Head of the Junior Department.
