Year 5 Students Experience Farm Life at Gaulby Lodge Farm
Leicester High School for Girls' Year 5 students recently enjoyed an immersive day at Gaulby Lodge Farm, where they learned about agriculture firsthand.
The visit included learning about milking cows, witnessing the birth of a lamb, and cuddling with the newborns.
The experience left a lasting impression on the students, reinforcing the importance of animal welfare and sustainability.
Mrs Cheryl Dryland, Head of Year 5, said, "Our visit to Gaulby Lodge Farm was an incredible learning experience. It provided valuable lessons about nature, food production, and compassion."
