Leicester High School Student Selected for LEGO Campaign
Leicester High School for Girls is delighted to announce that one of our students, Ophelia, has been chosen as a participant in the new LEGO campaign.
When asked about her selection, Ophelia stated, "It feels amazing, it is really empowering knowing that that is me in the advert and it is really a massive opportunity. Being one of the faces of the campaign is just amazing."
The LEGO campaign aims to celebrate girls' creativity and challenge societal stereotypes. It encourages girls to embrace their creative potential through play.
Ophelia shared insights into the selection process, which involved submitting a self-tape showcasing her talents, including gymnastics. After several stages of auditions, she received the news of securing the role.
Reflecting on her reaction upon learning about her selection, Ophelia described a moment of excitement shared with her family. "My agent rang when my mum and I were sitting in the garden enjoying the sun," she recalled. "That moment I squealed and hugged my mum. I was very excited as it was shooting for LEGO, one of my favourite childhood toys."
During the campaign shoot, Ophelia cherished memorable moments, particularly the transformative experience of wardrobe, hair, and makeup.
Looking ahead, Ophelia believes that her participation in this campaign will open doors to future opportunities and enable her to further explore her passion for the creative arts.
