Aspirational visit to Oxford University
Leicester High School for Girls is excited to announce that its Year 10 and 12 students recently visited the prestigious Christ Church College at Oxford University.
This visit is part of its comprehensive support for students applying to Oxbridge institutions.
The visit to Christ Church College allowed students to experience the academic environment of one of the world's leading universities. During the visit, students participated in guided tours, engaged in informative sessions about the application process, and interacted with faculty members. This experience aimed to inspire and motivate our students, giving them a firsthand look at the possibilities that await them at Oxbridge.
"Our visit to Christ Church College is a key component of our strategy to prepare our students for the competitive Oxbridge application process. We believe that exposing our students to these academic environments will not only enhance their applications but also broaden their academic horizons," said Mark Ryman, Head of Sixth Form.
