Student Leaders Excel at Hockey Camp
Three talented sports leaders from Leicester High School for Girls recently showcased their leadership and coaching skills by assisting in a hockey camp hosted by Leicester Westleigh Hockey Club.
The event, held at English Martyrs saw the participation of around 50 children from the local community.
The all-day camp was a resounding success, thanks in part to the dedication and hard work of our students, who played an integral role in running various drills and managing their own groups of young athletes. Their efforts were complemented by the involvement of Sam Tratt, the Sports Coach at Leicester High School for Girls, who also served as one of the coaches at the event.
"Our students' involvement in the Leicester Westleigh Hockey Camp exemplifies the leadership and community spirit we nurture at Leicester High School for Girls. It is wonderful to see them making such a positive impact," said Sports Coach, Sam Tratt.
Leicester High School for Girls is proud to see its students actively contributing to community sports initiatives. Our sports leaders demonstrated excellent teamwork, responsibility, and coaching abilities, which were highly praised by the event organisers.
