Spire Leicester Hospital Nurse Visits Leicester High School for Girls for Health Promotion Session

Leicester High School for Girls recently welcomed Lisa Warr, Lead Children’s Nurse at Spire Leicester Hospital, and her colleague to give an engaging health promotion session to our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) girls.

The visit was part of an ongoing initiative to promote health and well-being amongst our youngest students.

The session focused on essential health practices and was designed to be interactive, offering the girls valuable insights into taking care of their health from an early age.  Lisa Warr and her team led a small group session on the importance of handwashing, using a lightbox to demonstrate effective handwashing techniques in a fun, interactive environment.

These efforts reflect Leicester High School for Girls’ commitment to nurturing healthy habits amongst our students and supporting them in making informed choices for their well-being.
