Leicester High School for Girls Esports Team Competes in First Competitive Match
Leicester High School for Girls has made an exciting step into the world of competitive gaming, with its esports team playing their first-ever match against Bedford Girls' School.
The team made up of Year 12 students, took to their screens to showcase their gaming skills in the growing field of competitive esports. The match was an exciting experience, allowing the players to develop critical thinking, collaboration, and communication—all vital skills for the modern world.
The competition was supported by British Esports, an organisation encouraging girls in gaming and technology.
Deputy Head, Mr John Partridge said,
