Forensic Psychologist Visits Leicester High Sixth Form

Leicester High School for Girls recently welcomed Sarah Motson as a guest speaker for the Sixth Form.

Sarah, who works in forensic psychology within the prison service, spoke to students about her field and shared insights into her career.

During the session, Sarah provided an overview of forensic psychology and its applications. She discussed different aspects of the profession, including working with individuals in legal settings, understanding criminal behaviour, and the challenges associated with the role.

The talk was part of the school's ongoing efforts to introduce Sixth Form students to various career pathways. It offered an opportunity for students to gain a perspective on forensic psychology and consider it as a potential area of study or future employment.

Leicester High School for Girls continues to arrange guest speaker sessions as part of its Sixth Form enrichment programme and is currently planning additional talks and workshops to mark International Women’s Day on 7 March.
