EYFS Trip to Great Central Railway
EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) pupils at Leicester High School for Girls had a fantastic day trip to the Great Central Railway
The excursion provided its children with an educational experience aboard a historic steam train.
Hosts Tom and Ralph were helpful and informative, ensuring the girls had a great time. Highlights of the trip included travelling on the steam train and seeing inside the locomotive cab.
Head of EYFS, Mrs. Laura Heywood, commented, "Our trip to the Great Central Railway was an incredible opportunity for the children to learn about history and engineering in an engaging, hands-on way. The smiles on their faces said it all."
The visit was a wonderful blend of fun and learning, leaving lasting memories for the young pupils.
