Farewell to Year 11 and 13
Year 11 and Year 13 students celebrated their last School day, concluding a term of revision and assessments.
They celebrated their last week in style with a series of traditions. The highlight for Year 13 was a moving assembly, led by the students, that focused on their experiences throughout their school years. The assembly ended with each student receiving applause as they exited, marking the end of their formal education at our School.
Year 11 students enjoyed a lunch of pizza and chips and engaging in shirt signing, which allowed for some relaxed interactions and shared memories among peers.
Mr. Mark Ryman, Head of Sixth Form, commented, “It’s been a significant day for both year groups as they transition from one phase of their lives to another. We’re proud of their efforts and wish them all the best for the future.”
Leicester High School wishes all departing students well in their exams and as they move on to new challenges. We also look forward to welcoming back those returning for Sixth Form in the upcoming academic year.
