Leicester High School’s Candlelight Carol Service
Leicester High School for Girls recently held its much-loved Candlelight Carol Service at St James the Greater Church on London Road, Leicester.
Families, pupils, and staff came together to mark the festive season with music, readings, and a warm sense of community.
The service featured performances from the school’s choir and readings by pupils, creating a calm and reflective atmosphere under the soft glow of candlelight. The evening ended with seasonal refreshments, giving everyone a chance to catch up and share in the festive spirit.
Mr John Partridge, Deputy Head of Leicester High School for Girls, shared, “This event celebrates the shared values of hope, peace, and kindness, which bring people of all faiths and traditions together. It is a wonderful way to start the Christmas season and is very close to our hearts.”
The school would like to thank all who attended and congratulate the pupils and staff for their efforts in making the event so enjoyable.
