Leicester High School for Girls Excels at Technology Tournament
Leicester High School for Girls is thrilled to announce the outstanding success of its pupils at the annual Rotary Club of Leicester Technology Tournament.
Tasked with designing and building a motorised cable car, capable of delivering an aid package, our students showcased remarkable ingenuity and teamwork.
The quality of their engineering solutions and creative approaches was exceptional, reflecting the dedication and talent nurtured within Leicester High School for Girls' STEM programs.
Mr Andrew McMurray, Head of Science, commented, "Our students relished the competitive atmosphere of the tournament and demonstrated their passion for STEM subjects. Winning the Junior Category and being very close in the Intermediate and Advanced Category is a testament to their hard work and innovation."
