Leicester High School for Girls Welcomes Inspiring Guest Speaker Kiran Marita Wiltshire
Upper School was delighted to host a special guest speaker, Kiran Marita Wiltshire,
Kiran spoke about overcoming challenges, celebrating diversity, and striving for personal excellence.
Kiran is not only a former coach for the Leicester Riders but also a dynamic and passionate advocate for personal growth and empowerment. During her engaging presentation, she shared valuable insights on how to overcome life's challenges and obstacles, emphasising the importance of celebrating our differences and learning how to be the best versions of ourselves.
One of Kiran's mantras, "This Black Girl Can," resonated deeply with the audience, inspiring them to embrace their individuality and pursue their goals.
The session also included an interactive workshop where the students had the opportunity to explore the themes of empowerment, resilience, and celebrating diversity. The workshop encouraged the students to reflect on their own strengths, challenges, and aspirations.
Head of Sixth Form, Mr Mark Ryman, said, “Kiran's inspiring message of empowerment and unity deeply resonated with our pupils, and they were actively engaged throughout her presentation."
