Mandarin classes on Wednesday evenings have got off to a great start with students from juniors up to Sixth Form enjoying not only speaking but also learning to recognise and write some Chinese characters.

Published 15/01/22Saturday 15 January saw the return of D of E at Leicester High after two years of postponed expeditions. 28 silver students were in School for a full-day training in preparation for their practice expedition. Miss Watson and two instructors from First 4 Adventure UK delivered the training, which included a variety of workshops; first aid, cooking on a trangia, how to put up a tent and learning about what kit and equipment is required for an expedition.
