Year 9 Students successfully complete Bronze DofE expedition
Leicester High School for Girls congratulates its Year 9 students for completing their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) walking expedition.
Over the course of two challenging days in the picturesque Leicestershire countryside, the students showcased their determination and resilience. Teamwork played a pivotal role in the success of the expedition, and the Year 9 students demonstrated outstanding collaborative abilities.
The Bronze DofE expedition serves as a significant milestone in the students' personal development journey, providing them with an opportunity to apply the valuable life skills they have acquired through their DofE training.
Sarah Brooke, DofE organiser, said, “Well done to the girls. The conditions were challenging in the heat but their perseverance and ability to work as a team were excellent. We are all very proud of their achievements.”
Leicester High School for Girls looks forward to continuing to support and encourage its students as they embark on further DofE adventures and continue to strive for excellence in all aspects of their education.
