PSHCE at Leicester High
Years studied: Years 6 – 11. All girls study PSHCE as a non-examination course in Years 10 and 11.
Subject overview
PSHCE (Personal, Social, Health and Citizenship Education) enables you to become a confident and informed citizen of the community.
Guest speakers and external agencies are invited to lead sessions in their specialist fields. Visits also take place, for example, to the Galleries of Justice and Warning Zone. PSHCE lessons allow you to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to make safe and healthy choices and to respect the rights of others.
