Every week throughout the year all the girls in our Early Years Foundation Stage Unit experience learning in the Spinney, our dedicated wooded area.  Early outdoor education helps pupils to develop resilience, independence and teamwork. The girls wear our waterproof suits and their own Wellington boots so that bad weather never stops the adventure! 

Whilst in the Spinney the girls have an opportunity to engage in activities, such as 

• Minibeast hunting 
• Tree climbing 
• Den making 
• Art from nature 
• Tyre swing 
• Playing in the mud kitchen 
• Enjoying a hot chocolate
