Subject overview
Computer Science is a very creative subject and skills such as problem solving and analytical thinking will all be refined and explored. You will develop the skills required to apply the academic principles you will learn to real-world systems. You will also develop your understanding of the fundamental principles and concepts of Computer Science and the ability to analyse problems in computational terms.
As well as an emphasis on problem solving using computers, there is also an emphasis on computer programming and algorithms, as well as on developing the mathematical skills required to express computational laws and processes.
