Leicester High School for Girls Hosts Parent-Daughter Badminton Event

Leicester High School for Girls recently welcomed families to its Parent-Daughter Badminton Event, an evening of friendly competition, teamwork, and fun on the court.

Held in the School’s sports hall, the event saw players of all skill levels take to the courts, with some parents rediscovering their love for the sport and others learning alongside their daughters. The informal tournament format encouraged both competitive and social play, ensuring that everyone had an opportunity to participate and enjoy the game.

“Our Parent-Daughter Badminton Event was a fantastic way for families to connect through sport,” said Head of PE Annabel Simpson. “At Leicester High School for Girls, we believe in promoting a healthy lifestyle while also developing a strong school community.”

A special thank you goes to Sam Tratt, Sports Coach, for organising and leading the event, ensuring that both parents and pupils had an enjoyable experience on the court.

Leicester High School for Girls continues to offer a wide range of extracurricular opportunities, encouraging students to develop both academically and personally.
