Sixth Formers Inspired by Cambridge University Event

A group of Sixth Form students from Leicester High School for Girls attended a special outreach event hosted by the University of Cambridge at Leicester Racecourse this April.

The event brought together students from across the region to explore what life and learning at one of the world’s leading universities is really like.

The day offered insights into the Cambridge admissions process, course options, and what it's like to live and study at the University. Through talks, interactive sessions, and Q&As with current undergraduates and admissions staff, students gained a clearer understanding of the opportunities available and how to prepare a strong application.

Head of Sixth Form, Mark Ryman said, "Events like this are incredibly valuable in helping our students make informed choices about their futures."

Leicester High School for Girls supports each Sixth Form student with tailored guidance throughout the university application process, including preparation for competitive courses and institutions such as Cambridge.
