Talented Artist Maaria’s artwork on display.
Well done to Maaria (recent leaver '23) whose artwork has been selected to display in the Deputy Head’s office.
The beautiful piece of art captures the essence of a girl playing her flute. One notable aspect is the use of natural colours, which lends the portrait a carved-like quality. Maaria’s choice of geometric shapes and fragmented forms add depth and movement to the composition.
Deputy Head John Partridge said, “I am delighted to showcase the piece. Maaria’s skilful execution and attention to detail truly shine through in this artwork. Her impressive artwork serves as a constant reminder of the immense talent and creativity that flourishes within the School.”
Leicester High School for Girls takes great pride in fostering a nurturing environment that supports and encourages students' artistic pursuits.
