Leicester High School for Girls marked World Book Day with a week of literary celebrations.
Each day, guest readers shared excerpts from their favourite books in the library, inspiring pupils to explore new stories.
On World Book Day itself, pupils and staff dressed as their favourite book characters, bringing stories to life across the school. The day also featured a special assembly, where pupils celebrated their love of books and storytelling.
“Our World Book Day events spark imagination and encourage a lifelong love of reading,” said Head of English, Jess Wallis.
