Is transportation provided? 

Yes, we offer a school bus service from Market Harborough and surrounding areas. Information on routes, costs, and how to sign up is available on our Transport page.

What uniform is required, and where can I purchase it?

Where can I access the school calendar?

What meals are provided, and do you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Our school kitchen offers a balanced menu with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. If your child has specific dietary needs, please contact the school office to arrange accommodations.

How do I contact the School?

If you have a query about your daughter's progress, in the Senior School, we recommend that you contact her Form Tutor in the first instance, who will then pass the query on to her Head of Year if needed. 

In the Junior Department, we recommend you initially speak to her Teacher.

How does the lunch ordering system work and how do we pay?

For our Junior Department, lunches are included in the school fees. Junior girls simply make their selection on the day with no additional payment required.

In the Senior School at Leicester High, all girls can pre-order hot lunches from 4.00 pm- 6.00 pm the previous day. Lunches are on a pay-as-you-go basis, with payment made via the School Gateway, and girls can also use the biometric system for convenient cashless transactions. This pre-ordering option ensures that they receive their preferred meal, adding flexibility to their daily routine. Alternatively, they are welcome to bring their own packed lunch if they prefer.

How do we pay and when?

At Leicester High School for Girls, billing operates on a termly basis. Fees are due before the start of each term, and you’ll receive an invoice outlining all relevant details. Payments can be made through direct bank transfer, cheque, direct debit or via our online payment system (Flywire). More details can be found here

For ease, many parents opt for the monthly payment plan, which spreads the cost across the year. If you’re interested in setting up monthly payments, our Finance Department would be happy to assist.
